Global Beer Responsible Day

As part of Global Beer Responsible Day (GBRD), Kgalagadi Breweries Limited (KBL) conducted a two-day activation across 19 retail outlets in Gaborone and Francistown last week to promote responsible drinking through the Ja Easy campaign.

KBL’s Moderation Champions engaged retail partners and customers, reinforcing the Ja Easy message of pacing oneself, staying hydrated, and appointing a sober designated driver. Ja Easy-branded merchandise, such as coolers, branded bottles, and pastars, was distributed and set up in outlets to further emphasise the importance of drinking in moderation and act as a visual reminder of the campaign’s messaging. “These activations are part of our ongoing commitment to promoting

drinking in moderation, positively influencing social norms around drinking and building lasting relationships with our retail partners in Botswana,” said Bose Mpuchane, Corporate Affairs Specialist at KBL “Through the Ja Easy campaign, we continue to encourage our consumers to make drinking in moderation a lifestyle” GBRD is a global Initiative by KBL’s parent company, AB-InBev, dedicated to promoting moderation, and KBL plays an active role in spreading this message throughout Botswana.
